Building
beautiful spaces.
Hand-troweled Venetian plaster, Moroccan Tadelakt, clay finishes and cast concrete — surfaces made to last a lifetime.
“Coaxing earth and water into shapes, forms and structures takes knowledge and skill.”
For two decades, Mudwerk has worked alongside architects, designers and homeowners to turn raw lime, clay and concrete into timeless works of art — and living environments that feel made by hand, because they are.

Eric Cockrell
Eric founded Mudwerk in 2005 after years of plaster and concrete work across the country and abroad. A Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute, he leads a small, deeply skilled team that treats every wall, niche and countertop as a piece of work to be signed.
Mudwerk partners with architects, designers and homeowners — from a single Tadelakt powder room to whole-house lime plaster — bringing the patience of fine art to the surfaces you live with every day.
“The hand leaves a mark a machine never will.”
